Preliminary results from an ongoing study on BIOGENA ONE, a green drink with 99 carefully selected ingredients, reveal promising benefits across multiple areas of health.
Participants reported notable improvements in energy levels, digestion, sleep quality, and anxiety management, highlighting BIOGENA ONE’s potential as a comprehensive and effortless daily routine to improve general health.
Vienna, Oct 22 2024
The BIOGENA Science Team, working alongside independent medical doctors, conducted an eight-week clinical study to validate the effects of BIOGENA ONE. Using scientifically validated questionnaires, levels of fatigue, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) symptoms, sleep quality and anxiety management were examined.
These parameters were supplemented by monitoring various blood parameters and the composition of the microbiome. Assessments were performed at baseline as well as after four and eight weeks of supplementing BIOGENA ONE. The entire sample currently consists of 25 adults aged between 20 and 50 years.
“The study is set to conclude in November 2024; however, preliminary results already give a clear idea of the great potential of BIOGENA ONE for mental and physical well-being.”

The BIOGENA ONE study results show (after 4 weeks):
- 85% feel less exhausted
- 85% report fewer digestive complaints
- 70% report improvements in sleep quality
- 60% show a decrease in anxiety symptoms
Feel more energized: BIOGENA ONE reduces fatigue by 54 %
Around 30 % of German adults are affected by fatigue. Among the working population, even 61 % rate their risk of burnout as medium to high. Stress is a major factor that contributes to sleepiness, lack of concentration, forgetfulness and many other symptoms of exhaustion. In addition to sufficient rest and relaxation, selected nutrients are essential to go through life motivated and full of energy.
Different facets of fatigue were assessed using a validated questionnaire consisting of 30 items, including sadness, exhaustion and muscle aches. In 85 % of the study participants, the signs of fatigue were reduced after just 4 weeks of taking BIOGENA ONE. On average, the severity decreased by 54 %. The participants were emotionally, mentally and physically more relaxed and their motivation and energy increased.
The observed effects can be attributed to selected vitamins of the B-family and magnesium; both play an essential role in nerve metabolism. Simultaneously, ubiquinol plays an important role in cellular energy metabolism in the mitochondria and is able to reduce mild fatigue symptoms.
Improve your gut health: BIOGENA ONE reduces symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome by 24 %
35 % of German adults reported to be affected by digestive disorders during the last year (2023). Feeling of fullness, bloating and diarrhea: These and other symptoms make life hard for many people. Are these signs of an irritable bowel syndrome or just general digestive problems? The definition is quite vague. However, non-specific intestinal symptoms seem to be on the rise and reduce quality of life markedly.
To examine the effect of BIOGENA ONE on gut/digestive issues, a validated questionnaire with 13 questions was used to assess various symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. On average, the severity of symptoms was alleviated by 24 %. In the study, 85 % of participants experienced an improvement in digestive complaints, particularly in diarrhea, feeling of fullness, feeling of tension and pain.
The probiotics contained in BIOGENA ONE may be attributable to these effects. Several studies have already proven the benefits of different bacterial strains on gut health and the reduction of irritable bowel syndrome symptoms. Possible synergic effects on gut health may be due to the combination with inulin, a special dietary fibre which acts as a prebiotic agent.
Back to restful sleep: BIOGENA ONE improves sleep quality in 70 % of study participants
Increasingly more people are having problems falling and staying asleep. According to a representative German study, 80 percent of employees currently feel affected. One in ten employees suffers from insomnia, a particularly serious sleep disorder. These have increased by 60 % since 2010, along with the prevalence of sleep medication use. One in two people with sleep disorders then turn to medication, and the trend is rising – accompanied by side effects such as depressive moods, headaches and dizziness. Therefore, it is important to work on the underlying causes of sleeplessness and to find more sustainable ways to have a good night.
The impact of BIOGENA ONE on sleep quality was assessed by a commonly used single item on a 7-degree Likert scale. Astonishingly, 70% of participants reported a higher quality of sleep after four weeks of intervention. Even better, the number of participants who reported poor sleep dropped to zero, and those who already slept reasonably well reported improvements to good or even very good quality of sleep. A complementary marker measuring alertness upon waking up further validated these findings.
For the sleep-supporting effects of BIOGENA ONE, a variety of relevant ingredients come into question: Hop is traditionally used as a sedative and science provides several studies to substantiate the effect. It is suspected that hop bittering agent humulone interacts with the receptors for the neurotransmitter GABA. Glycine is another nutrient which can help to promote a good sleep, as shown in different studies.
Reduction of anxiety symptoms
A big German health insurance company reported that psychological problems were the most important cause for the absences at work. Especially in such demanding times it is important to supply the body with an appropriate amount of nutrients to build resilience. But at the same time, it is difficult to maintain a healthy diet with freshly cooked meals every day. Supplements can be an important aid in these situations.
A validated, 7-item questionnaire commonly used to measure anxiety symptoms (such as breathing problems, panic and excessively feeling their heartbeat) as part of psychological health was used in this assessment. On average, the severity of anxiety symptoms was reduced by 30 % after 4 weeks. Thus, 60 % of the study population felt less anxious and worried, which can be interpreted as feeling more relaxed and comfortable. Even though there were no participants with manifest anxiety, one can conclude that BIOGENA ONE can contribute to a relaxed feeling.
Be the best. Take the best.
“We have the largest science team of the industry”, reports Martin Gratzer, co-creator and managing director of BIOGENA ONE. “And when leading science and the quest for uncompromising quality meet, it becomes the best.”
BIOGENA ONE is at the forefront of a massive transformation of society. People world-wide are adapting healthier lifestyles and move away from owning stuff towards investing in experiences.
